Several original events are organised at and from Village Départ throughout the year. Some will be weekly, monthly or annual, such as our social rides, our senior morning and the pub quiz. Others will be one-off or, for example, organised annually based on a particular theme, the time of year or by one of our partners. Keep an eye on our calendar and register early!
Activities
If you want to spend a day in and around Village Départ as a company or with a group of friends, we offer various fun activities tailored to your needs. For example, mountain bike or gravel clinics, a speaker from the cycling world, guided social rides, podwalk, clinic trailrunning, breath coaching, presentation on sports nutrition, bikefitting, cycling technique workshop, a beer tasting.... We like to think along with you!
Facilities
Village Départ and estaminee De Koers offer many convenient facilities such as a workshop for minor bike repairs, sales of basic bike parts, clothing and fun gadgets, bike rental, bikefitting, showers, bike parking, charging stations for cars and (soon to be) e-bikes.
Surroundings
In addition to recreating in and around Village Départ itself, there are all kinds of great places to go in the surrounding area. The towns of Veghel, Schijndel and Sint-Oedenrode offer great walking and cycling opportunities, and Den Bosch and Eindhoven can be reached within 20 minutes by car. The Eerdse woods and Vlagheideberg are great for exploring nature and enjoying the dozens of kilometres of views from the highest point.
